So the heat couldn't get any calls in game 3?

27 fouls called against the Heat, only 14 against the Mavs (half of them Wade had to flop like hell for). If someone wants to say that the Heat almost got screwed by the refs I won't disagree with them; if the shoe was on the other foot we'd definitely hear how the Mavs couldn't get any calls. But the heat were more aggresiive in the paint and ironically couldn't get any calls, plus the mavs got phantom calls towards the end of the game that put dirk on the line. The refs truly didn't like the heat.

So I heard this song the other day on an alternative rock radio station, that basically plays the popular hits. This song came on that was kind of like a dance beat. How do you deal with a racist Mother in Law?

my mother in law is from mexico and hardly speaks alot of english. I married her son who speaks fluent english and spanish. She has always been nice to me but I came to find out that her niece got killed by a her black baby's father 8 years ago. This has made her despise african american people. I am African American and I can understand spanish when it is spoken. She has asked me to look for her a new house in Chicago and im unfamiliar to any of the areas but whatever looked nice I set up interviews with a real estate agent. We went to a house and she saw one black person and she just starred and when we got in the car she was telling my husband/ her son in spanish "hell no im not moving here this is the black neighborhood, i never wanna live around these people all they do is steal and they cant be trusted." It hurts me because I am african american and 8 months pregnant and I don't want her putting in our daughters head that being black is bad. Honestly some of the black people here are "GHETTO" and it upsets me because I hate that's what Im ociated with. I can't give you names for your characters, however they do not need to be super pretty/interesting. How often is their last name going to come up in your story? Look to the people around you, what are their last names? Borrow them. See an interesting name on the internet? Use it. Keep your eyes and ears open. But last names are not super important, they're just good for introductions, focus more on writing your story and if you need a last name add it in later when you find something you like. Help! just had surgery for ovarian cysts a week ago and drs on vacation!!!!!?

I have been in and out of the doctors all months to figure out what's the severe sharp pain in my mid back and my right side would have spasms. First it was a kidney infection and a uti.. got my antibiotics and took that whole prescription like I was suppose to. Next day pains right back. So I go to the doctor again. And then he thought I was sinsitive in my women area and thought it was another infection. He gave me antibiotics again and ordered me to see a gyno asap. So next day I went. And he examined me and I was just really sinsitive. So he ordered a sonagram. So I went the next day and got it. And by this time the pain is unbearable and he looks and sees a lot of fluid around my right ovaries. Then he thinks I have appendicitis and he thinks mu appendix ruptured. So got rushed into surgery. Came back to it. And he told me. I had a ruptured cyst and I was bleeding internally, I'm severely constipated. My livers stuck ( not functioning like it should cause of infections) and I'm probably going to have problems with my liver and my appendix. But my concern is I'm si tired but can't really sleep. My heads killing me, and all that pain I had in my back before I went to surgery is back and worse. I'm getting so irritable and snappy at everyone and no one wants to be around. I don't like this and I just want to be better. But idk what to do cause my Dr. On vacation, and I'm so mad at his nurses for sending me back to work 4 days. Later, and I lift 120 + pound people all day. With 3 places. I have stitches including inside my belly on. Am I still suppose to be in this much pain, and tired, and enraged all the time? I need advice PLEASE HELP! !!!!!!!!

This game is getting a little out of hand, I'm not going to say the refs are cheating but if I had to grade the calls they have made so far they would get a "D-" the Mavs should definitely not have twice as many free throws as the Heat. If your going to call ticky tack fouls on the Heat call them on the Mavs as well.

Why can't I get drunk anymore?

Last night I began to notice my underwear were damp. I would change them and then a couple hours later the new pair would be slightly wet. These refs are making me sick?

The Mavs are a fantastic team and so are the Heat neither have done anything wrong and both sides have played a great game I don't think the refs have been biased even though most of the calls have favored the mavs they have just been completely incompetent that there has been no rhyme or reason to anything that they call. The amount of offensive fouls on rebounds is blowing my mind the amount of second chance opportunities its giving the mavs is ludacris if your going to call that call it the same way.

I think guitar is great choice - it's portable, writing/playing songs, play it anywhere without people complaining(mostly) unlike the sound of a wind instrument especially ( you can get a mute but it's not much fun), or the screeching (when first learning) violin - though you can use a rubber or br mute. If the violin sounds weird, it may be the strings ( I recommend Eudoxa , or at least perlon (dominant) strings) or maybe your playing too hard and too close to the finger board. If you have a particular violin in mind that you like you may find it cheaper online --http://store.pottersviolins.com/ ---- they also have a good trade-in policy & instrument trial periods & rentals .Like a previous poster said - find SEVERAL pieces of music you would really like to play for each instrument. My opinion for a guitar out there right now for the money in your price range is the Guild gad50 series $720-750 USdollars - I'm buying one soon! And remember, if your musically inclined there is no reason why you can't later learn another instrument. I highly recommend it! Because it makes you think more creatively and gives you confidence as a MUSICIAN not just a violin player, flute or (insert instrument here) player. Good luck.

Also, don't forget to check your diet. Eat clean (non-processed) foods. Going below 1200 calories a day is not recommended even while trying to lose weight. Your body will adapt if you try to starve it and it will hold onto all the fat stores it can while deteriorating your muscles to get nutrients. Have 3 small, healthy meals a day and 2 healthy snacks...each 2-3 hours apart. Eating within an hour of waking up also kickstarts your metabolism. If you can sneak in about 30 minutes of cardio and then eat, you will see a change just with that.

What kind of strings should I put on my Tele style electric guitar to give it a nice jazz tone?

It's a G&L ASAT Special Tribute Series guitar, practically a Tele. Well all I'm playing now is jazz on it so I'm wondering what strings to use to give it a great jazz tone, not a jazz guitar at all though. I've always has about 9s on it, fine for bending but horrible for jazz. I switched to some 11s, jazziest ones my local shop had and they're better once I got used to them but still not very good. They feel too loose and weak still now I'm used to them, they're also a bit unbalanced I swear the b came from a lighter set. So what gauge should I go to? Also it felt really bad putting the heavier set on the little skinny electric, how safe is it to put on even heavier ones? Thanks.

I heard it in a retail store today and I couldn't catch all of the lyrics over the din. It's a jazzy-funky song with a male vocals. The song starts with a super-heavy b line with very distinguishable notes, then a b slide up and down. The lyrics I heard are limited at best, but to paraphrase something like "I walk through the (my) (front) door" is within the first couple lines. Problem with Dead Space 2 disc 2?

Ok so I bought dead space 2 yesterday. Started playing it, when I got to chapter six, after I kill the brute and what not, I get on the elevator to ride up to the solar panels. The game says "insert disc 2" So I open the tray, insert disc 2, and it loads up and says "chapter 7"....then nothing happens! I wait, and wait, and wait....and WAIT on the elevator, it never opens up, it never stops, it just keeps going, I sat there for like almost 10 minutes. So I paused and tried to return to my lasy checkpoint and I sit at the loading screen for forever! So I figured maybe the disc was scratched. So I clean it, kill the brute go back to the elevator and nothing happens! So then I paused the game and tried to quit and I get the xbox error message that says the disc is unreadable, clean it off yada yada yada. So I loaded up another file where I'm on chapter 11, and it works fine! So I thought maybe the file was corrupted, but to be on the safe side I returned the game to wal-mart and got another copy. Came home, deleted the file, started a new one this morning, I just got to chapter 6, got on the elevator and it still wont work! I keep getting the disc unreadable message. There is no way in hell I got 2 copies of the game and they both don't work. I have the file saved on my hard drive, maybe that's the problem? I also have a memmory card in, sooooo.....???? Can anyone help me? thankyou in advance.

Can you ruin your vocal chords by singing to high?

I use to could sing low notes/songs very well for a girl. Kinda of a jazzy sound. But then i started to sing higher notes/songs that were sorta out of my range. Now i can sing high notes at a decent level but i cant seem to reach all the low notes i use too. Im wondering if my vocal chords could have been damage by singing to high of notes, and if so is there a way for me to achieve my the ability to sing low notes again with out damaging more to my voice. Can you be in a situation where to keep one commandment you need to break another?

The 10 commandments says - honor your mother and father but also says do not kill. So if you father tells you to kill someone you either dishonor your father by not doing it or break the do not murder commandment. Similarly if your mother tries to seduce you do you run foul of the adultery one. Similarly someone may put a gun to head and force to make a graven image and bow down before it. Help! just had surgery for ovarian cysts a week ago and drs on vacation!!!!!?

I have been in and out of the doctors all months to figure out what's the severe sharp pain in my mid back and my right side would have spasms. First it was a kidney infection and a uti.. got my antibiotics and took that whole prescription like I was suppose to. Next day pains right back. So I go to the doctor again. And then he thought I was sinsitive in my women area and thought it was another infection. He gave me antibiotics again and ordered me to see a gyno asap. So next day I went. And he examined me and I was just really sinsitive. So he ordered a sonagram. So I went the next day and got it. And by this time the pain is unbearable and he looks and sees a lot of fluid around my right ovaries. Then he thinks I have appendicitis and he thinks mu appendix ruptured. So got rushed into surgery. Came back to it. And he told me. I had a ruptured cyst and I was bleeding internally, I'm severely constipated. My livers stuck ( not functioning like it should cause of infections) and I'm probably going to have problems with my liver and my appendix. But my concern is I'm si tired but can't really sleep. My heads killing me, and all that pain I had in my back before I went to surgery is back and worse. I'm getting so irritable and snappy at everyone and no one wants to be around. I don't like this and I just want to be better. But idk what to do cause my Dr. On vacation, and I'm so mad at his nurses for sending me back to work 4 days. Later, and I lift 120 + pound people all day. With 3 places. I have stitches including inside my belly on. Am I still suppose to be in this much pain, and tired, and enraged all the time? I need advice PLEASE HELP! !!!!!!!!

I'm n the uk on a council estate. My neighbours who are rough to say the least have moved their relations 4 in all into a tent in their back garden their are 4 men age between 25 to 60. I have dissected many animals (Pigs, frogs, worms, etc.) I've impaled thousands of beetles on pins that were killed for research, I've studied animals in captivity (working at a zoo on an internship) and I will continue to perform non-vegan activities for the rest of my life (probably). haha I love those kinds of music too. I don't know if you want instrumental or singers, but these are some really good ones. There's alot of good jazz out there, you just need to google some of it up. Because there are many good ones from different styles and all. For modern jazz, I would reccomend artists such as Taylor hicks and Colbie Caillat (her songs like Midnight Bottle). The Hiroshima jazz band is also really good too. Okay, so here's a little back info. We have lived at our current place for just at 2 years now, and we have had problems with our fridge from the day we moved in. From Day one, the fridge leaked heavily from the top down, and pooled into the produce drawer (it's a traditional top freezer fridge btw) and we've called over 10-15 times to have That fixed. Maintenance comes out, they basically drain the water and leave. The liquid smells so foul like mold. We stopped calling about that issue because the NEVER fix it. We just continually drain the water and keep only limited foods in the fridge. Now, for the past 3 days we have called because the fridge stopped cooling, and all our food spoiled. They came out twice and said "Ok it'll start cooling, give it 3 hours...." It NEVER starts. We are living in this place, paying $1300 rent for a tiny townhouse, in a nice suburb of DC, and eating out of a cooler. Please advise us of Anything we can do, our lease isn't up. Thank you.

It's all about getting your talent out there and making yourself known. Go to open mics, venues, anything you can get into to broaden your local fanbase. The more you do out in public.... the more people will notice you. Who knows, maybe in one venue you do there will be a producer in the audience that will help you out!

Fleas! I need advice fast!!?

I just found out my cat and dog have fleas. I gave them both baths with flea killing shampoo and picked out all the dead and alive ones then did it again. I stripped all the bedding and washed it in hot water twice and the blankets that were too big and pillows i put in a black garbage bag and put in my deep freeze. I vaced the entire house and spray a mixture of water with a few drops of tea tree oil all over the house and furniture. I want to bit this thing in the A** while i can. So here's the story I'm a junior in high school, my now ex-boyfriend was a senior (he recently graduated). We dated for a year and one month, the night before prom he broke up with me. Since then he's been trying to get with other girls and hangout and flirt and it hasn't worked out for him at all. When he finds out guys talk to me, and hang out with me he gets jealous and sad and texts me to yell at me and put me down, then goes back to being sorry as if he wants me to sit around and be miserable while he does whatever he would like to and then him come back when it's convenient for him and me still be waiting around? Which is totally unacceptable. I never contact him, or act needy and upset like most girls tend to do after a break up, I'm killing him with kindness but still living my life and not showing sadness. Help! just had surgery for ovarian cysts a week ago and drs on vacation!!!!!?

I have been in and out of the doctors all months to figure out what's the severe sharp pain in my mid back and my right side would have spasms. First it was a kidney infection and a uti.. got my antibiotics and took that whole prescription like I was suppose to. Next day pains right back. So I go to the doctor again. And then he thought I was sinsitive in my women area and thought it was another infection. He gave me antibiotics again and ordered me to see a gyno asap. So next day I went. And he examined me and I was just really sinsitive. So he ordered a sonagram. So I went the next day and got it. And by this time the pain is unbearable and he looks and sees a lot of fluid around my right ovaries. Then he thinks I have appendicitis and he thinks mu appendix ruptured. So got rushed into surgery. Came back to it. And he told me. I had a ruptured cyst and I was bleeding internally, I'm severely constipated. My livers stuck ( not functioning like it should cause of infections) and I'm probably going to have problems with my liver and my appendix. But my concern is I'm si tired but can't really sleep. My heads killing me, and all that pain I had in my back before I went to surgery is back and worse. I'm getting so irritable and snappy at everyone and no one wants to be around. I don't like this and I just want to be better. But idk what to do cause my Dr. On vacation, and I'm so mad at his nurses for sending me back to work 4 days. Later, and I lift 120 + pound people all day. With 3 places. I have stitches including inside my belly on. Am I still suppose to be in this much pain, and tired, and enraged all the time? I need advice PLEASE HELP! !!!!!!!!

Why can't I be like everyone else?

So, im a 13 year old boy. Just like everyone else, good sense of humor, smart. But there's one problem, i have acne. My life was awesome when i lived in Connecticut, i had tons of friends and I really liked this one girl...Emilie. Yes I had acne in ct but no one ever insulted me because they were my friends and they didn't point out the flaws that I had. They only cared about what a good friend I was. But then, with no notice, I moved to North Carolina, leaving my friends and Emilie. I now go to this stupid private school that is extremely strict ( my school in Connecticut was a public school and kids had a lot of freedom. It was also ranked one of the top 100 schools in america). And another negative thing about this school is that everyone there is mean and rude. Also, everyone keeps on pointing out that i have acne and it is lowering my self esteem ( don't tell me i'm being over selfish). Everyone is like: What's all that stuff on your face or Clean your face you fa**ot (people say that done here in nc, they also say gay a lot when it doesn't even make sense). But what these people dont understand is that I have tried everything to get a clean, respectable face. I've tried face wipes and proactive and creams, but nothing is working! As of right now I am on meds and morning and nighttime lotions that dry up my face and attack the acne. I have notice some improvement around my nose but its taken 2 months just clear up my nose. My parents don't know what to do and I have zero friends. I hate it here!!!! Sometimes I just feel like dying because these selfish f***ing a**holes keep insulting me and calling me a nobody. Car shudders on start-up, possible spark plug problem?

I have a '97 Saturn SL2. When I start my car up after not driving it for awhile (say, overnight), it shudders a bit but then drives fine. However, when I run an errand that takes longer than a few minutes but doesn't take so long that the car can really cool down, the shudder is more pronounced on start-up. If I have to run a few errands, it does get to the point where I wonder whether I'll get the car to start at all. My car has been doing this to some degree for awhile, but I really noticed it the last couple of days, which were very hot. I'm not sure what's causing it. I had all the spark plugs replaced last year. Could they foul up that quickly? Could the heat have been a problem? Does how long I run the battery before actually turning the car on matter?

The way lebron is playing, he's eliminating his threat to score. he's doing mavs a favor, no longer do the mavs have to worry about keeping lebron in front of them, if hes just going to play pive the whole game, and take one shot in the 4th. All these comparisons to jordan is crazy, and uncalled for. Its disrespecting jordan. Jordan never had to defer to someone else to win the game. you never saw the ball in pippens hands for 95 percent of the game, like wade is. if anything, lebron's the pippen, wades the jordan of the heat. Yes i know wade missed a free throw, and had an unforced turnover, but really, if lebron was attacking the basket (which you know if he did, it would stress the defense and he would get fouled or defense would collapse and leave someone open) would the heat have been in that situation? i see a guy depending on wade to win him a ring, rather then playing his game. If lebron keeps playing this way, heat will lose. when you have 38 year old jason kidd guarding you, learn a post game, and dominate like you should be. has all the physicall tools you need in a player, but when you pass and stand, then watch, what good is that. What good is your 6'8 body frame if you dont make the defense try to guard it. I see a guy that is not getting to the free throw line, because hes not attacking and hes passing constantly. I am totally losing my mind?

Just to begin with i suffer with severe anxiety and depression and i am on meds. ok i snapped about a month ago. my hubby and i are moving to new place after 5 years here we have a 5 year old son who just finished 4 k and is now going to be going to school full time. He had made friends over the year and i talked to some of the moms and talked now they want to hang out and that freaks me out. my mother in law is from mexico and hardly speaks alot of english. I married her son who speaks fluent english and spanish. She has always been nice to me but I came to find out that her niece got killed by a her black baby's father 8 years ago. This has made her despise african american people. I am African American and I can understand spanish when it is spoken. She has asked me to look for her a new house in Chicago and im unfamiliar to any of the areas but whatever looked nice I set up interviews with a real estate agent. We went to a house and she saw one black person and she just starred and when we got in the car she was telling my husband/ her son in spanish "hell no im not moving here this is the black neighborhood, i never wanna live around these people all they do is steal and they cant be trusted." It hurts me because I am african american and 8 months pregnant and I don't want her putting in our daughters head that being black is bad. Honestly some of the black people here are "GHETTO" and it upsets me because I hate that's what Im ociated with. We went to the mall and there was 2 black girls being loud and ghetto in the bathroom cursing and being just rude!! I didn't leave the stall but when they left a latina and a white lady was talking about how black people have no manners and going on and on about how they are tearing the city apart. I was embarred to leave the stall because I didn't know what they would say to me or how they would look at me. I am a well educated African American girl, I was raised around a diverse group of people but Why my people? ..I know you guys are tired of hearing about all of these things, but I've been hearing a lot about this today because of the whole Tracy Morgan rant and I answered such a question today myself. But of course it remains that many people still believe that ity is simply a lifestyle choice that is made. And the argument for that belief is that kids are too young to know what uality is growing up and it is only when they hear about it or see something about it on TV maybe that they realize what ity is and it's then that they make their choice to be that way. However, if I'm not mistaken, if kids are hearing about being gay on TV and such and they hear that maybe it's "cool" to be that way and that's what they want to do with their lives, then it stands to reason that they are also hearing about how being gay is a sin and it's bad and not something you should do, and they're hearing about people being bullied and killed because of their ual orientation. Therefore, if offered the two "choices" of being ual or heterosexual, who would hear the negative stuff and say, "Hmmm, I think I'm going to join the LGBT community." Who is going to grow up hearing that they're going to hell and such for being gay and then is going to say, if truly given the choice, "Yeah! That's what I want! A life of persecution and ridicule. Sounds like fun!" Let's ume you could make that choice, what would really drive you to pick that life after hearing about all of the bad stuff. Sorry, guess I wasn't as brief as I intended to be :)

I contracted oral thrush from giving my girlfriend right after taking an antibiotic for leaky gut. Because the Antibiotic kills bacteria, then right after I was done, I gave her oral and she had a yeast infection. 5 days later and now 1 month later. I am getting over oral thrush, but I have a persistent Milia like yellow/white spots under the thin top layer of my lips. Is this clified as candida of the lips or oral thrush of the lips? And I have Nystatin cream and Ciclopirox cream. Can i use them both on my lips to get this to go away? Thanks. You can do it different ways depending on if you want it to be a knife and fork do, or a finger type buffet. Ones I have done before,sat at tables have been a slice of ham on the plate,along with a little lettuce,tomato,pineapple and half a boiled egg, then in dishes on the table new potatoes,coleslaw,pickles, waldorf salad and bread buns with er pats. Or if you are wanting to do sandwiches offer a choice of ham,egg mayonnaise,smoked salmon and prawn,that type of thing,both open and closed sandwiches,on white and brown bread. Along with mini pork pies,quiches,nibbles etc. I have found the plated meat goes down better. Allow about 3 potatoes per person,then a dessert dish of each of the other foods. If you are doing this you have to think of who and how you are going to clear the tables unless you use all disposable tableware, also what about cutlery,drinks condiments etc. Easy desserts are sherry trifle or apple pie with cream,both which can be prepared the day before. Amounts, think what you'd like to eat yourself and go from there.

all the other advice already given is great! So take it all in, use that advice! But sometimes you have to come at a horse like that with a different approach. Read up about wild horse behavior. Bring yourself down to her level. Spend time with her by her stall, or where ever you keep her, don't go in with her or anything, just sit by the enclosure and mind your own business. Bring a book or something. Just let her watch you. She may get curious and come and sniff at you. But the key is, let her come to you!! Don't push her when she's not ready to be pushed! She has to know that you aren't a threat to her. Every horse is different. You can't expect all of them to respond the same way. Just show your dad how hard your willing to try to help this horse. You can't just tell him, you have to show him too. Once ur horse trusts you, keep yourself on the same level. Again make urself something that's not threatening to her (for example, move slowly, don't make too much sound, ect). And if you watch her closely, shell tell you how she feels. By the way she stands, where her ears are, her eyes. But don't forget that she is bigger than you, so you still can't let her walk all over u.
