Can you ruin your vocal chords by singing to high?
I use to could sing low notes/songs very well for a girl. Kinda of a jazzy sound. But then i started to sing higher notes/songs that were sorta out of my range. Now i can sing high notes at a decent level but i cant seem to reach all the low notes i use too. Im wondering if my vocal chords could have been damage by singing to high of notes, and if so is there a way for me to achieve my the ability to sing low notes again with out damaging more to my voice. Maybe something like exercises or warm ups or a good technique etc. Any good professional advice will help.
