What is this song? Help!?

I heard it in a retail store today and I couldn't catch all of the lyrics over the din. It's a jazzy-funky song with a male vocals. The song starts with a super-heavy b line with very distinguishable notes, then a b slide up and down. The lyrics I heard are limited at best, but to paraphrase something like "I walk through the (my) (front) door" is within the first couple lines. It almost had a Maroon 5 feel to it, but I'm not sure it was them. I've searched all day, but I can't quite find the song on Amazon or iTunes, or on a lyrics-seaching website. Thanks for the help.
